Image Resolution

Image resolution refers to the maximum number of pixels that create an image.It consists of two numbers that

correspond to the horizontal and vertical resolution. The usual resolution are D1: 720x576pixel, 4CIF:

704x576pixel, CIF: 352x288pixel. For the SDI Megapixel cameras the resolution is referred as 720p, 1080p that

correspond to 1.3Mp and 2Mp. CubisNX Hybrid support all previous resolutions.

SDI Cameras

To the opposite side of IP Megapixel cameras are SDI Megapixel cameras. They combine the advantages of IP

Megapixel with resolutions of 1.3  2.0 MP with the ease and advantages of analog cameras. They do not

demand new cabling installation, new equipment and transmit uncompressed video to the DVR. As a result they

produce smaller image sizes and consume less network Bandwidth and a signal transmission via the cable GR-59.

Cubis systems support SDI Megapixel technology offering Megapixel recorders or Hybrid systems that combine

analog and SDI Megapixel cameras.
