It refers to the compression encoding of video footage. H 2.64 protocol is the
most recent compression protocol and delivers high quality recorded and trans-
mitted images.

The system has the ability to transmit images to mobile phones and smartphones.
PTZ
Control of PTZ cameras can be achieved through RS-485 port.

Recording Resolution
Common recording resolutions are D1: 720x576pixel, 4CIF: 704x576pixel,
CIF: 352x288pixel. For the SDI Megapixel cameras the resolution is refered as 720p,
1080p that correspond to 1.3Mp and 2Mp.
eSATA
Support of external HDDs of eSATA technology for exporting video data.
960H
960H is a new standard for security cameras and security DVRs that provides high
resolution images using advanced image sensors. Security cameras capable of 960H
produce an image that is 960 horizontal and 480 vertical pixels large (960x480).
Alarm Output
The number of alarm outputs that a system supports giving the ability to control de-
vices such as lights, doors and other devices.
